Chanler at Cliff Walk Wedding || Greg and Trish
Another fun throwback wedding! Trish and Greg had an intimate wedding at the Chanler at Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island. I don’t get down to Rhode Island all that often (except to visit my sister :)), but when I go down there for a wedding, it’s always amazing! So many gorgeous spots down there, right on the water.
Trish got ready at The Gilded Hotel, which could not be more aptly named. It’s a little jewel box of a hotel, I love the bright colors and historic details of the hotel.
After that, we moved to the Chanler at Cliff Walk - which is another gorgeous hotel, remodeled from an 1800’s mansion, that retains all of that charm, and of course it’s right there on Newport’s famous Cliff Walk!

Then we headed over to the Chanler at Cliff Walk, where Trish and Greg had a quick first look and then we did the photos of the two of them together.
These clouds were unreal! What a beautiful backdrop for their couple portraits.
I don’t know what it is about this image, but just the look back over the shoulder and the long veil floating in the wind… For me, chef’s kiss!
So many beautiful spots for photos at the Chanler at Cliff Walk. What an amazing opportunity to have this gorgeous historic site all to ourselves basically!

Just a few guests for this intimate wedding, their close family. Not a bad view while waiting for the ceremony to start!
The officiant put the rings into a bag and handed it to the guests to pass among them - putting their blessings and best wishes into the rings for the couple.

This orchestral trio played for the ceremony and stayed for the hour afterward, entertaining everyone, and Trish and Greg also took a moment for their first dance out on the lawn. The flower girl did not miss this chance to go gather up her flower petals and throw them on the couple for a surprise while they danced!
Their cute dog made an appearance too!

The sun set and everyone made their way into the Chanler for dinner, cake, toasts in a private room, part of the hotel restaurant there.
