Pat's Peak Wedding || Matt and Laurel

Laurel and Matt had a perfect September day up at Pats Peak for their fall wedding! So pretty. It was my first time there, and it was so fun walking around and finding some different, neat spots for photos (trying to find as much foliage as we could!)

I asked Laurel some questions about the wedding day, and her answers are in italics throughout.

How did you two meet?

Matt and I met on match.com which was a good way to interact with the hard to reach 20-30s crowd here in the Upper Valley. We sent daily messages to each other before meeting in person. Eventually we sent multiple messages and emails to each other every day. It was like a never ending, effortless conversation.

Thanks for inviting me to be part of your Pat’s Peak wedding!

After the ceremony, I couldn't believe it was over. It happened so fast! I was able to relax a bit and enjoy the rest of the evening.

It was so fun to walk around Pat’s Peak to find these spots for wedding photos.

We were glad we chose to have two photographers, some photos were straight forward and some were more artistic. It was a great balance.

You really did capture everything! Going through them is like reliving the day and that is great because as the bride being hidden for a chunk of time I got to see it all. The venue had a variety of opportunities for nice photo backgrounds which made things even easier. So many great, natural shots to pick from!

My advice to other couples getting married is to figure out your shared priorities as the very first thing to discuss. Give yourself the gift of time for organizing and scheduling as much ahead of time as you can.

The very end of the night, last slow song was the most memorable part. Couples were slow dancing all around us and then about halfway through the song everyone spread out in a circle around us holding hands just being in the moment. You could feel the support, happiness, and love in that circle. I am grateful you captured those last moments.
