Wedding at the Evermore at Peirce Farm Estate || Lily and Dan
What a great way to start my wedding season this year! It was so fun to be a part of Lily and Dan’s wedding at the Evermore at Peirce Farm this spring. I’ve been to this venue before, but it has since been bought and rebranded as the Evermore and they have added lots of lovely touches and improvements throughout the property. Definitely check it out if you are looking for an elegant but rustic vibe for your wedding day!
Lily and Dan had a laid back morning of getting ready at the new suites at the Evermore, then we had a quick first look and got all the photos done before the ceremony. After the emotional ceremony, the couple was eager to hang out with their friends and family, especially friends who had traveled all the way from California to be there (the couple relocated there from the Boston area a few years ago). Then it was a wonderful dinner by Vinwood Catering followed by an epic dance party!

I’ve asked the couple some questions about their story and the wedding day, their answers are throughout in italics.
How did you meet your partner and/or get engaged?
We met in December 2018 on Hinge (truly a success of modern day apps haha). At the time, Dan was living in Brighton and Lily was living in Cambridge. We met at Pavement Coffee in Fenway and then walked to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
We got engaged in South Korea in May 2025 (but had actually selected our venue and date before that because we're both planners). Lily told Dan that even though we already knew we were going to get married the following year, she still wanted a proper proposal on our next upcoming trip.
Keep going for so much more from this fun wedding at the Evermore at Peirce Farm Estate!
This is new from when I first photographed at Peirce Farm - the Magnolia bridal suite! This is a perfect spot to get ready - lots of space and beautiful natural light, comfy seating for those waiting for hair and makeup and a fridge for snacks! Basically a whole salon ready to go for whoever you bring in to do hair and makeup.
What is one suggestion you have for other couples who are planning their weddings?
Be organized! We had a multi-tab Google Sheet where we tracked all our tasks, vendors, and expenses. Small expenses can really add up, so many sure you track those too if you don't have an unlimited budget.
Love this cute wooden swing the Evermore put in!
We think the most important thing about planning a wedding is doing it together, within your own budget. If you and your partner can't share the highs and lows of planning a wedding, will you really be able to go through life together? As we like to say - it was "one of the biggest group projects we'll have to do." Also the day goes by SO fast - live in the moment and enjoy it.
How did you choose your wedding venue?
We actually first found out about Peirce Farm from your blog post for Everly and Steve! We were pretty sure we wanted a "barn" / "rustic" wedding in the Boston area, so we toured a few places in winter 2024, and loved Peirce Farm. The new owners made a lot of improvements between when we booked it and when we got married - the space where we had our ceremony was newly designed, and the bridal suite was also new!
There are so many spots around the Evermore at Peirce Farm to take some beautiful photos! It was raining off and on before the ceremony (when we were taking these), but thankfully we were able to go in and out of the estate house, which is also an amazing backdrop inside!
Thankfully there was no rain for the ceremony, so they were able to have it in the gorgeous and secluded garden area at the Evermore at Peirce Farm.
The ceremony was so special to us, and we were lucky to have a family friend officiate. Advice to other couples: make sure you have lots of tissues up there with you for your vows. It was also great to get to see our guests' reactions in the photos you took because we weren't really paying attention to that in the moment.
It was definitely an emotional ceremony, with sweet personal vows.
What were your goals for your wedding day? (ie, what was your vision, what did you care about most?)
We are both foodies, so we wanted to make sure the food was delicious. Big shoutout to Liz Croteau at Vinwood Catering - Liz was so great to work with, Vinwood Catering had one of the most straightforward pricing packages out of anyone we spoke to, and everyone had great things to say about the food after.
We also wanted to make sure every guest had a good experience - it was important to us to spend time talking to everyone who came, especially because many of our friends had to fly in from California.
We were pretty nervous up through the first dance because we felt like we had a "role" to play. We especially wanted to make sure we got the dance right because we had taken lessons for it.
It’s always nice to take five minutes during the reception to get some golden hour photos.
What a nice view of the Peirce Barn at twilight! Love the addition of the cafe lights.
The photos are awesome! Especially loved the ones where we were dancing and everyone had glow sticks. We didn't even remember when/how you could have taken some of these. We were also really worried about the weather (because it drizzled during our photos), but the muted sunshine behind the clouds actually turned out great.
